Story: Bobolink is the name of FAF’s insanely consistent blend composed of coffees from their own farm and many surrounding farms. FAF is known for not only pushing the boundries of agronomy with their bio-dynamic growing strategies, but they also push the bounders of processing by using cutting edge methods and metrics designed to get the cleanest and sweetest coffee possible. The Bobolink project is proof that they are doing something right, it is consistently one of the best large lots of coffee coming from Brazil
FAF is run by Marcos and Filipe Croce, a father and son team that represent 3rd and 4th generation coffee growers respectively. Bobolink is named after the street that Filipe grew up on in the suburbs of Chicago Illinois. The street was named after the migratory bird, the Bobolink, who, like the Croce family themselves, split their time between the coffee lands of Brazil and the industrial detritus of Chicago. Inspired, the Croce family decided to name their blend after the bird.
