Sumatran coffees are known for their heavy body and uniquely earthy flavors. The distinct flavors from this region come from Sumatra’s damp climate and landscape. The Kerinci region is remarkably different due to its close proximity to an active volcano. Arabica coffee made its first appearance in Kerinci in 2010 but we are already impressed with the results. This coffee is lively with upfront notes of plum, molasses, an aroma of sweet tobacco, and a pleasant spiced aftertaste.
