Serra do Boné Estate was formed as a testament to Carlos Sérgio Sanglard’s belief that when you take of nature, nature will take of your coffee and your people. Carlos purchased Serra do Boné in 1988 to break with traditional Brazilian coffee growing techniques by focusing on quality of coffee and land stewardship. His efforts have not gone unnoticed. Four time Cup of Excellence winner, Carlos is seen as a pioneer for specialty coffee in the Araponga region of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
