This is a blend that can be enjoyed at any time of day. A few sections from our South American offerings compose this blend, with special attention paid to the malted chocolate base from Peru. That chocolate base is the perfect platform for the sweet and vibrant notes that come from the Black Condor’s sweet and spiced taste. Black Condor is grown in the foothills of the Colombian Andes mountains, started by a producer named Emmanuel. He opened his own coffee processing center in 2016, where he assists local farmers with bean processing. Forest Coffee, who supplies this coffee, provides workshops and demonstrations to the farmers of this region to increase their coffee production and quality. The other component of this blend is the Peru Rutas that is supplied through Crop to Cup, which also is the result of cooperative efforts between suppliers in the Chota Province of Peru. 326 members are included in this cooperative, and it’s a great reminder of what collaboration and teamwork can provide to regional farmers. A fitting name for this blend, the Peacemaker, as both components combine from the results of hard work in regions that were once affected by corruption and guerilla warfare, now both flourishing in their own rights to be producers of great coffee.
